RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Following his heroics for the Seleção during last month's FIFA Confederations Cup, football's (soccer) international radar has been on Fluminense and Brazil number nine, Frederico Chaves Guedes, known simply as Fred. The 29-year-old netted five times during Brazil's campaign, including a brace in the final against world and European champions Spain.
The player has been in excellent form on the international stage in 2013 . . .
