RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The novel-like activities around Brazilian superstar Neymar’s future destiny have just seen an important new chapter on Monday, August 19th.
Juventus decided to enter the competition with Barcelona and Real Madrid, talking to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) about the star’s current situation at the French club, according to the latest report by GloboEsporte.com.
The Italians are impressed by the Brazilian and are studying the possibility to involve Argentinian Paulo Dybala to sweeten the deal for PSG.
PSG is interested in the Argentine striker, who lost his place at Juventus last season. The French are said to even see Dybala as an ideal candidate to replace Neymar. Furthermore, PSG’s manager Thomas Tuchel had already pointed out that he would not release the Jersey #10 without someone to replace him.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are currently sidelined but remain active and valuable clubs in the bidding dispute, but it is becoming clear to everyone that Juventus is a strong competitor.
PSG’s discussions with the Catalans have been ongoing for a while now, but without significant progress. The transfer window in France, Italy, and Spain is open until September 2nd.
If Neymar joins Juventus, he will be partnering with Cristiano Ronaldo for the first time in his career.
