São Paulo delivery orders triple in first half of 2021

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Pandemic concerns and social isolation have led delivery orders in São Paulo to skyrocket by 300% this year.

Data from Box Delivery, a platform that connects restaurants to delivery partners, saw the number of orders surge from 76,800 in the second half of last year to 308,000 this semester.

The company has just reached the total mark of 4 million deliveries made and has more than 6,000 registered establishments and 105,000 delivery partners.
