SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL - In July, São Paulo industry had a net loss of 3,500 jobs. This is a comparison with the month of June, without seasonal adjustment. In the year so far, the balance is also negative (1,000 fewer openings).
The data were released yesterday, August 6th, by the Federation and by the Center of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP and CIESP).
"This reduction was already expected for the month of July, as had been signaled by Sensor research. The progress in the agenda of reforms may provide impetus to economic growth . . .
