Fire Strikes Hospital do Coração in the South Zone of São Paulo

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL -  A fire broke out on the upper floor of Hospital do Coração (HCor), in Paraíso, in the South Zone of São Paulo, on Friday afternoon, June 28th.

The fire reached the cooling system outside the hospital. The fire department dispatched twelve vehicles and quickly tackled the blaze.

According to the hospital, the fire was contained by the HCor fire brigade, the hospital building was evacuated, and the patients were taken to the front building for safety reasons. The fire has already been controlled, and no injuries have been sustained . . .
