One Firefighter Killed, Another Missing in Landslide During Rescue in Santos

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A fireman died buried and another went missing while trying to rescue victims trapped under the rubble in the Macaco Molhado hill in Guarujá, Baixada Santista, in the early hours of Tuesday, March 3rd.

According to the State Police Communication Center, Corporals Marciel de Souza Batalha, 46, and Rogério de Moraes Santos, 43, both from the 6th Fire Brigade, went missing while on duty.
