Government and unions reach agreement; São Paulo public transport strike ends

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The strike of CPTM railroad workers, which affected the circulation of train Lines 7-Rubi, 8-Diamante, 9-Esmeralda, and 10-Turquesa in São Paulo was ended early this evening (15), after an agreement between the government and unions.

The São Paulo state government will make the necessary contribution to train operator CPTM and pay employees appropriate profit participation (PPR) for 2020.
