“Let’s Make Congonhas Airport International,” Says São Paulo Governor

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The governor of São Paulo, João Doria, said on Monday, December 16th, during the inauguration of the executive airport São Paulo Catarina Airport (SPCA), that the government intends to internationalize Congonhas Airport, located in the southern zone of the capital.

Doria said he had discussed the issue last Friday, 13th, with the Ministers of Economy and Infrastructure. "I spoke with Tarcísio (Gomes) with Paulo Guedes on Friday, we will internationalize Congonhas".

The governor, however, failed to give further details on the matter.
