After Holiday, Volunteers Remove 360 Kg of Garbage From Praia Grande in Ubatuba

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Volunteers collected some 360 kilos of garbage from Praia Grande in Ubatuba (SP) on Tuesday morning, September 9th. With the extended Independence holiday, hot weather and social flexibility, the city registered full beaches and crowds of people with no masks.

Seven volunteers from the NGO Esmeralda collected garbage left behind by tourists on the beach, one of the busiest on São Paulo's northern coast. The amount of garbage struck the group.
