RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The signing of the authorization for Catarina Airport, owned by JHSF Participações, to operate international flights is scheduled for Thursday, June 24. Opened in December 2019, the airport in São Roque, 14 minutes by helicopter from the state capital São Paulo, is the first private airport in the country to focus on executive aviation.
Following government approval and the procedures of all the agencies involved (tax office, federal police, Anvisa, Vigiagro, and Anac), it is expected that international flights will open in the second half of the year.
