São Paulo lowers speed limits from 50 to 40 km/h on some city streets; see list

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The number of traffic accidents with fatalities in the city of São Paulo increased 2.5% in the first quarter 2021 compared to the same period last year.

The São Paulo City Hall has reduced the speed limit for cars on 24 streets and avenues in the city.
