RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – On October 23rd, from 3 PM, the J. Safra Bank will hold an online auction of vacant properties for amounts up to 60 percent below the appraised valuation price. In total there are 11 residential properties, eight of them in the capital of São Paulo, two in the interior of São Paulo and another outside the state. The event will be conducted by Mega Auctions, on the company’s official website.

The São Paulo properties are located in the city’s districts of Barra Funda, Tatuapé, Morumbi and Santa Efigênia.
The cheapest initial bid is for an apartment in the central region, to be auctioned for US$239,800. The most expensive initial bid registered is for an apartment in Jardim Morumbi, starting at US$2.1 million.
Financing is among the payment options: buyers can make a down payment, which ranges between 20 and 30 percent of the bid, and pay the remainder in monthly installments. Moreover, the FGTS (Severance Indemnity Fund) can be used as part of the process of completing the purchase.
