SAL Market Gathers Authorial Products in São Paulo’s Parque da Cidade Mall

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – The beginning of August will be punctuated by power and creativity in the Parque da Cidade Mall. Between the 1st and the 4th, the recently opened shopping mall will host the 1st SAL Market, a fully sustainable and authorial event bringing together small-scale art, fashion and design producers.

And there’s more: in this debut edition, the market has invited activist Adriana Barbosa — who heads the creative and entrepreneurial powers of Feira Preta and Afrolab, to be the curator and showcase her network with countless artists.

The combination of Feira Preta and Afrolab will bring 20 exhibitors to the event. The goal is to renew your closet with awareness and character.

Conceived by entrepreneur Fá Almeida and by artistic director Debora Dubois, the SAL Market was devised based on three solid principles: sustainable, authorial, and free.

It is sustainable because it aims to meet the needs of the current generation while meeting the needs of future generations.

It is authorial because all its productive chain is conceived by people, enriching culture, and contributing to human development, in careful synchrony with the environment.

It is free because it is devoid of labels, type casts, and exploitation of any kind.
