São Paulo could have one of the coldest periods in 25 years

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The cold spell in São Paulo could be one of the most intense in 25 years.

The powerful polar air mass that just moved into Rio Grande do Sul on Tuesday (27) will drop the temperature in São Paulo tomorrow (28) and promises to bring very cold temperatures between Wednesday and Friday (30) with lows on Friday that could rival the lowest in 25 years.

The city of São Paulo still has a warm winter day today with very high temperatures for July, however cloud cover increases.
