São Paulo Reaches 6,700 Covid-19 Deaths (May 27th)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Yesterday, May 27th, the State of São Paulo reached 6,712 deaths caused by the novel coronavirus. The State also counts 89,483 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, recorded in 515 of its 645 municipalities.

To date, São Paulo counts 4,686 patients in intensive care units (ICU) and 7,707 in wards. The total number of patients discharged from state hospitals confirmed with the novel coronavirus was 18,245.

The occupancy rate of ICU beds reserved for Covid-19 care stands at 73.2 percent in the State and 87.6 percent . . .
