São Paulo Records 66 Percent Drop in Daily Hospitalization Requests

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The city of São Paulo recorded a 66 percent drop in the number of daily hospital admission requests over the past week. Ten days ago, the capital had an average of with 350 daily requests from Covid-19 patients. Currently, the mark has dropped to an average of only 120 requests.

In an interview to Rádio Bandeirantes, the municipal Secretary of Health, Edson Aparecido, points out that this criterion is more important than the current occupancy rate.
