RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - According to the State Police (PM), a man fired several rounds at the scene. The victims' condition has not been disclosed.
The case occurred at 10:10 AM and the victims were five women and one man. According to preliminary information from the PM, the victims were shot in their arms and legs. One woman had been shot in the back. The square is cordoned off.
According to the PM, the victims tried to escape by running to a Sesc unit in the area.
