Police Shut Down Funk Party, Seize 90 Motorcycles In Diadema, Greater São Paulo

Street parties were taking place in the region known as Morro do Samba and also in São Mateus, in the early hours of Monday, October 12th.

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL - Approximately 90 motorcycles were seized after the PM (State Police) put an end to a Funk Party at Botocudos street, in Vila Conceição, in Diadema, Greater São Paulo city, in the early hours of Monday.

According to the 24th Metropolitan State Police Battalion, the force received several denunciations of street parties being held in the region known as Morro do Samba. When they arrived, dozens of people and motorcycles were found, causing a commotion among locals and police officers.
