SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – Approximately 90 motorcycles were seized after the PM (State Police) put an end to a Funk Party at Botocudos street, in Vila Conceição, in Diadema, Greater São Paulo city, in the early hours of Monday.
According to the 24th Metropolitan State Police Battalion, the force received several denunciations of street parties being held in the region known as Morro do Samba. When they arrived, dozens of people and motorcycles were found, causing a commotion among locals and police officers.

Funk Party in São Mateus
Also in the early hours of Monday, hundreds of people gathered for a funk party on José da Costa Azevedo street, in Jardim Vera Cruz, near the São Mateus Terminal, in the region of São Mateus, east side of the São Paulo capital.
According to Valdir, a resident in the region, the youths were on site listening to loud music and consuming alcoholic beverages and drugs. He also reports that this activity occurs often, even during the social isolation period.
According to the 38th Metropolitan State Police Battalion, which serves the area, there is no record of calls to the address, but confirms that it is a common activity in the area. The police, when called, intervene in the area, but shortly afterwards the group rejoins.
