RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Ebanx, Gympass, Loggi, QuintoAndar and Wildlife. These five companies enabled Brazil to be placed third in the ranking of countries with the highest number of new unicorns in 2019.
The survey, conducted by the Crunchbase news site, shows that, in all, 142 companies around the world joined the list of unicorns in 2019.
These companies raised US$85.1 (R$340) billion - down from US$139 billion raised by new unicorns in 2018 and US$93.8 billion in 2017.
