Brazil’s EMBRAER presents electric flying car prototype
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – EMBRAER presented its new electric flying car in flight, for the first time. The reduced-size prototype took off from EMBRAER’s headquarters in Gavião Peixoto on Wednesday (24).
The project is part of Eve Urban Air Mobility Solutions, dedicated to developing the urban air mobility ecosystem.

The company has been developing a portfolio of solutions to prepare the market, including the certification of the electric vertical take-off and landing vehicle (eVTOL) and the creation of urban air traffic management solutions.
Details
EMBRAER’s eVTOL project has ten propellers, eight horizontal and two vertical, and looks like a large drone, but to carry passengers.
Initially, the vehicle will have a pilot in command, but the project intends that the flight will be totally autonomous in the future.
