Cannabis accelerator wants startups watching Uruguay, which legislates outside the box

While waiting for more advanced legislation on the regulation of cannabis use for medicinal purposes, Brazil is approaching the pioneer for specific and more ambitious market experiences.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Uruguay is at the forefront in legislating outside the conservatism box, a pioneer from legalizing abortion to legalizing marijuana for medicinal and recreational purposes since 2013, despite some setbacks in the full development of the local market.

The Green Hub accelerator - which has just extended its 3rd call for startups' applications to July 18 - has partnered with Uruguayan incubator Ingenio.
