Latin American consumers expect 5G to improve internet services -survey

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The majority of mobile users in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru are optimistic about the new generation of mobile services (5G). The data is part of a survey conducted by Luis Costa & Asoc. at the request of system provider Ciena.

The survey reveals that the respondents said they feel the need for better Internet service, based on the following factors: 44% to work at home; 41% of families because they are using more broadband; 41% because they are forced to study at home; and 30% because entertainment consumes more data.
