One of India’s largest unicorns lands in Brazil targeting basic education

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Several edtechs are targeting the Brazilian private education market: there are over 550 Brazilian startups working with education, according to a study by Distrito innovation company.

Early childhood education is the segment with the fewest startups in operation and receives the least investment. This is precisely the target of one of India's most valuable startups. BYJU's, an online teaching platform to develop "future skills", announced its arrival in Brazil on Wednesday, July 28.
