RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Telecoms Claro, NET, Sky, Oi, Vivo, and Nossa TV will now send out Civil Defense and CENAD (National Center for Risk and Disaster Management) warnings to pay-TV subscribers in the Northeast.

The feature began in seven states in this region on Monday, December 16th, which will complete the coverage for all of Brazil.

Registering is not required to be notified of natural disasters. These are automatically received through a pop-up message, with 10 seconds of exposure time which can be closed manually to avoid disturbing an important show on TV.
