WhatsApp to Launch New Options for Group Message Self-destruction

The feature allows you to automatically delete messages in WhatsApp groups up to one year after they have been sent.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - WhatsApp is expected to add a feature that allows you to automatically delete group messages after a certain time. The novelty, which is under development and has not yet been released to users, is hidden in beta version 2.19.348 for Android.

The report is from WABetaInfo, which typically advances some of the new WhatsApp features. According to the website, the App has been working on the option to self-destruct group messages at least since October. It will allow admins to set a sort of expiration date for messages.
